I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good shop to take my sam7k to?
I'm looking to chop the barrel and re thread it to accept standard 14x1 muzzle devices.
I would obviously prefer a place that has done this or similar tasks before
I do not, but I do know that Tim is a very accomplished and well rounded gunsmith that has chopped and re-thread numerous barrels for many members here on the forum over the years (had him chop and re-thread an AR9 barrel for me). I'm going to hazard a guess that this is well within his wheelhouse.
Be prepared to wait though. Tim Is a "one man" shop and as such, can have a more than a few folks waiting in queue. The wait is well worth it and you will not be disappointed!
