It might be good to have a rational conversation about the proposal. However, a rational conversation would first require finding a non-delusional person willing to speak in support. Second, it would also require finding a rational person able to refrain from laughing long enough to speak at all.

A better idea might be to give them training so they can better hit what they are shooting at. That might help speed up the self eradication that is going on there.
