I no longer own this 1911, but I had the slide and beavertail Cerakoted in Midnight Black by Mike at CFS(Columbia Firearm Service, formerly firearmstands.com). The bluing on the gun was thin to begin with, so I went the Cerakote route, and I think it came out well. I would have kept the gun, but got an offer before I could pull the ad.
