Just arrived today, and gotta say... I LIKE em!! One thing I did do though was pull off some q-tips and stuff it at the bottom of each tube. It doesn't stop all the rattle, but it helps.

This is cool and all but I just do it like this. 5/16 ID clear plastic tube flexible like sold at home depot. Cut a bit longer and plug the bottom so it holds as many rounds as your mags holds.

I am 63 and first made these for a friend who had a nylon 66 when I was 14 with some plastic line I found in his step dads garage. The nylon 66 held 14 rounds so we made the tubes hold 7 rounds. 14 round tubes were too long to fit in our pants pockets.

Now a days I just buy a bunch of mags but soon moth balling my 10/22 for CZ bolt action .22 so I will probably make up some more of these when I get the CZ.
