Yes, Thunderbolt is cheap, but for your general 22LR plinking firearm (not target or suppressed or, whatever) they work great.
If you're low on 22LR, it might be time to stock up. With the worldwide powder shortage (I'm monitoring powder prices and they have increased over 20% since December), it's only a matter of time before ammo - including 22LR - prices go up and it gets more scarce.
