I don't live in WA and don't know how true it is, but there was a discussion I read not long ago about that. Some folks were saying it depends on your zip code. Some county and municipal laws supposedly changed to ban shipment of "dangerous weapons" and include BB/airsoft/CO2/etc items.

A couple of people mentioned they couldn't have one shipped to their address but when they changed the shipping address to a family members in another WA county it shipped just fine.

Amazon's response has been that it's not them, but the mfg's not allowing them, but that's kinda BS. People were trying all different mfg's, third party sellers as well as the "sold by amazon" and they got the same message. It's seems impossible that all MFG's suddenly got together to do an industry wide ban... especially when their products are still shipping from other retailers (non-amazon).

Buy elsewhere?

Says Amazon. ???
What did I miss?
I suspect we must be going to see another round of the threads about holsters and WA yet again. I just randomly looked at Amazon while logged into my account for a Gamo CO2 pistol since I knew they would have a lot of those. First ones that popped up were Prime and when I put one in my cart they said I could have it tomorrow. So I have to "guess" is someone is being told no they are looking at one sold by a 3d party through Amazon?

It's a simple matter to correct the problem. Vote the phuckers out….

Looks like it is an issue in King county for sure. I put a Co2 pistol in my cart and Amazon won't deliver it to my King County address. When I changed the delivery address to my son's business in Tacoma, Pierce county, it was good to go.

As mentioned earlier.. when this issue first showed up there were some folks trying all sorts of stuff, "sold by amazon", third party, et al... and seemed to come to the conclusion that the ban was based on the shipping address, not on the seller or mfg of the product.

IOW, It doesn't appear to be a blanket shipping ban across all of WA. Only select zip codes.... based on product type.

In that other groups discussion... now that you mention it... King county was specifically mentioned as one. One person changed the shipping address to a family member in... Skagit... IIRC(?) The exact same item and seller, it shipped just fine.

It seems the question is... is there actually a legal ban or is it just some erroneous issue in their system at play(?)

Bizarre. I changed the zip code to an adjacent city and GREEN LIGHT!
I emailed my County Councilman's staff to see if there is some recent ordinance which prohibits this.
BB gun control?

Damn that's a new wrinkle. Wonder what the hell King Co has done now

Heads up on this topic.

I looked at other pellet guns on Amazon.
Not just CO2 pistols, but break barrell rifles as well.
The only one that would ship was a crossman pump pistol.

On top of that, the price on one of the co2 pistols that would not ship to a King country address, but would to a Mason country address, went UP when I changed the address...
Not the shipping (that was free) , the price...WTF?

That's not uncommon with a page refresh. Amazon uses a dynamic algorithm that reduces or increases a price based on demand and listing traffic. They also index other websites offering the same product. As the price through other sources increases/decreases, so does amazon's price.

When something is offered at a really good price, or with a % coupon off at checkout offer... don't close or navigate away from that page until you've made up your mind.

Only change I made was the shipping address.
Same pistol, same seller (Sold by, shipped by Amazon), two different prices.
One to a king county address, which they wouldn't do. And a higher one to Mason county, which they would.
Tried changing the address back and forth, prices stayed consistent

In all actuality, amazoon probably does not want any liability if someone "shoots their eye out" since king county is full of sue happy karens, or worst yet someone tries to use one in a crime. Don't laugh, there are idiots out there that would try that.
