I own legal machine guns. I own lots of things that require federal tax stamps.

Shopping at Bass Pro shop, Cabellas or purchasing a Bible have been confirmed to put you on a federal watch list at this point.

I mean if you aren't on a federal watch list by now, are you even having fun? I am all in to be on as many lists as possible, I am going to treat it like a bingo game. If I get a Bingo, can I get a free tax stamp?
That's amazing! I'm so sad that I'll never be able to buy or own a machine gun. Or even an AR living in oppressive @$$ Washington. And you're right! I guess I'll just enjoy and embrace being on their lists because that means I'm living right…lol. 😃

Just my own personal opinion but I would not mix ammo in my mags, especially in a SD gun. It will not hurt the gun, but if I feel one with little recoil, My brain immediately goes to thinking "did One stick in the barrel?" "Do I dare pull the trigger again?" I want all to be consistent.
Now if I were on the range and had a handful of several brands, speeds, or bullet types, there's no reason not to shoot them.

as to bullet types, HP's are not any safer than FMJ's through an apt wall. These were made to be shoot by Air Marshalls in and airplane. they are also pretty safe inside an apt.

I don't know if they are real fight stoppers, I have never seen them used in a fight, but as long as they have been around there is bound to be some real live data out there. Good Luck DR

I mix range ammo. Ppu, fiocchi and S&b aren't really different enough in impulse to matter or mistake as a squib. I have had squibs before. (WWB I am looking at you) Natural variation between brands is typically fairly minimal.

A Glaser safety slug will generally not cycle a semi automatic so I would only consider its use in a revolver or the last round on a magazine.

Well, I did actually go out to Jones Creek by myself yesterday! And had a super successful shoot session! First time ever in my life that I have went out to a location and shot by myself. I used 115 grain, 124 grain and I did go ahead and test out my Hollow points. Everything shot absolutely fine. I can control all of that perfectly well. And I had no problems, whatsoever. I was super pleased with it and I shot Federal, Blazer and the Sierra hollow points. That was so amazingly fun! She shot like an absolute champ. No misfires, squibs or anything! Perfect, chef's kiss! I don't know what my next gun is going to be. I do know that I want a rifle, a shotgun and probably two more pistols, one of them being full-sized. At some point, I think I'd like to add in a revolver. But I made sure to be 100% safe and I took away more trash than I made. At this point, it seems like the ammo that I am using is running through my S&W M&P Shield Plus absolutely fine. And I did give her a really good cleaning afterwards as I am getting into that habit now. Went through about 300 rounds! So much fun! 🤩 Thank you everyone for all your insight! 🫡

You're in trouble now, you're hooked :s0140:
Enjoy, it can be a ton of fun. A .22, probably at least two, rifle and pistol. They are a TON of cheap fun. :D

100% hooked! So much fun! Now if I could just afford to buy myself like 10 acres and live where I shoot, that would be the ultimate dream! 🤩
You and I both! If I ever hit the lotto I would move to ID, buy some property where I could walk out my back door to shoot. Then I would of course have to have at least a couple NFA stamps for really fun toys. :D
