I purchased this from my scoutmaster in Portland back in the 80s, and now I need room in my safe. No idea what it is worth, or how to sell it in WA. I live in Aberdeen where there is a gunshop where we could do the transfer.

Looks like a sporterized 1895 Mauser...Spanish / South American I would guess....
Is there a crest on the receiver...?
What is the caliber...usually they are 7x57mm Mauser or at times some were converted to .308 / 7.62 NATO.

Thanks Andy. It is a 7mm. I think it is Chilean, but nothing but a serial number stamped on the receiver. There is a star of David which I think came from the manufacturer Leopold Loewe
