I seem to miss a lot of the "news" Wife somehow see's. Apparently as soon as these hit some got video of stores with people lined up outside to get in to buy one. Employee's were letting some in a side employee entrance and selling armloads to them. So then when they let the public in they were all "sold out". So of course now some very angry customers are posting the video's on line to fuel the anger. If this is true, I have better things to do than search, it was poor marketing of them to allow this. It will cause (again if true) a lot of customers to avoid them and go to one of the thousands of other coffee places. Up where I live coffee joints seem to out number stop'N'robs. Often see huge lines at the damn things which amazes me. Hell of in idea people came up with getting people to pay that price for a cup. :s0092:

Damn, you old.
(I remember them too....)
I once, in grade school, went out to my grandpas and got some straw off one of the bales out in the barn, picked up a rock and took it to school and sold it for a buck during the pet rock craze. "Sorry guy, my mom threw the box away."

I remember those and then dancing around when they were taken away for just that reason. Damn people will collect ANYTHING so it may actually be worth something to someone who just has to have one. :D
Somewhere around here, my sister had a baby spoon. Real silver with a Swastika on it. They were given to the mothers of baby's in the Nazi;s breeding farms.

Old Walt at the Baron;s Den would have paid me big money for it too. He collected WWII Nazi memorabilia. Either it;s around here somewhere in a box of shot, or she sold it for drugs long ago. It always creeped me out.

I've still got boxes of crap in the garage that belonged to my sister. She stored her stuff here when my mom lived here.

Well, the other day in West Salem there was an argument over who got the last pumpkin spice donut or some such. Culminated in one of the participants ramming the other with their truck out in the parking lot. Think the rammer turned himself in, and the rammed lost a leg.
Holy cow? Really? Wow.

I worked at a shop on Milwaukie Avenue just south of Powell. Unfortunately I was running the forklift and was facing the other way, but I heard a diesel truck rev up, a "bang" and my co-workers saying stuff like "Whoa, no sh!t!" Turns out a punk in a Soobie was playing games where Milwaukie turned from 2 lanes South to 1, got in front of a truck and then brake checked him. The second time, right in front of our shop, the dude in the Dodge throttled right thru him and drove off! Dang, I wish I would have seen that. The guy in the Dodge did come back though. He had second thoughts and did the "right" thing. Funny as Hell, though!
The Subaru was so new it didn't have plates on it yet.
