Oh, ditto this 100% and I mentioned the same on another forum this is being discussed on but for recently shot, or 'moderately' dirty ground pickup it works just fine.

A while back I tried it (non-pin) on some fairly dirty brass that had some oxidation and powder blackening and I was surprised it came out pretty dang clean!
