Tried to do a bit of research as I get more into optics. Last range visit I was shooting high.

The dot is starting to creep down the front sight after adjustment. I am hesitant to lower the front sight for some reason? Maybe because i dropped the RMR about 8 clicks already seems like alot. Maybe I am totally off.
I was thinking / trying to get the sight dialed at closer range (30yds) before trying longer distances. Any advise at this point? Could be poor shooting too but I am consistently high. How high I don't know I got aggravated and just started doing mag dumps.
Start over at home with boresight? I am messing with too many optics at once and confusing myself.
