Any possibility some polishing of contact surfaces would help or is their just not enough mechanical advantage in the design to make it work reliably?I have a 450 BM bolt action upper. Thing is a POS, feels like the handle is going to break off just trying to cycle it. Chambering a round is almost impossible. My sample size is one but it's not a good start for them in my opinion.
Appeared to be a combination of both. With smoothed edges it would be smoother. I got frustrated and parked it for a while until I get back around to it, probably a winter project.Any possibility some polishing of contact surfaces would help or is their just not enough mechanical advantage in the design to make it work reliably?
Never once even considered it. Interesting premise though.I am curious to see if anybody has put one together and got it running correctly. Mostly concerned about how the action feeds as I have heard very few reviews but they were mixed. I would love to build one in 458 socom.
