Weight as pictured.

Blackfeather RS / CQB-16: 10 1/2 lbs.
M21 A5 Crazy Horse EBR: 13 lbs.

The CQB-16 is now in a tiger stripe USGI birch E2 stock.

The Crazy Horse M21 A5 has been removed from the SAGE EBR.
It is being installed in the Blackfeather "RS". Weight reduction is the goal.

I will be using the CASM Gen II "EX" scope mount.

I finished up the build last week, and I am happy to report that this Blackfeather "RS" build is a little more than 3 lbs. lighter than the same rifle weighed in my SAGE EBR. Now I just need to schedule some trigger time with her.

The ability to quickly swap different "uppers" to the same "lower" is one
of the important design objectives that you haven't heard much about.

Unload the rifle, make sure the chamber is clear, loosen the op rod bolt, remove the trigger group,
remove the op rod bolt, remove the"upper", install your other "upper", begin threading the op rod bolt,
re-install the trigger group, tighten the op rod bolt with your wrench. That's it.

Basically, you can fit a proprietary op rod guide to as many rifle barrels as you wish.
Now you can easily move each one in & out of a single Blackfeather "RS" chassis as you please.

Bump Fire Systems for the Blackfeather RS, M14/M1A.

If you have a BF-RS and install the optional BF-HBA,
you can use the Bump Fire System made for the AR.

I have a few projects ahead of this one, but it looks
like everything lines up as it should - so it should work.
I anticipate having to remove some material in order
to clear the trigger guard, no big deal though.
