Machined from solid round stock in the late 50's according to the guy I got it from. Has a 1" bore, It weighs about 20lbs & very stout for the size, also very loud when loaded accordingly. Asking 500$ obo haven't really seen another like it. Would consider a trade for a bolt action .308
