I just wanted to remind people to always call Cabela's and see if they will match prices.
I need a new spotting scope and found what I wanted at BH Photo and OpticsPlanet for $275/$280 respectively. (Redfield Rampage) and then checked Cabela's... $329. Called them up and asked on their price, and while they couldn't match because they were not brick and mortar within 100 miles, they went to the computer and figured out what deal they could make me and it was very competitive.
I go in and think that they are a little more than Sportsman's sometimes but their service is superb. So is Sportsman's of course. If you haven't been out of the area, you may not know how lucky we are to have good stores like this with good customer service in our area.
