Hogue aluminum thin grips. Can't decide whether to leave them like they are, cerakote or blast them slightly to kill the shine. The grips shine more than the picture shows.

They look OK to me, for what they are. Although I always prefer wood on anything.

Are they anodized?
If so it's a hard form of protection. You don't want to remove it and leave soft bare aluminum.

The same as polishing a feed ramp back to bare metal on an alloy frame pistol.

Thank you! I believe they are anodized. I have cerakoted anodized aluminum before, but blasting these grips would be a mistake. I'm glad I posted this.
