I am a 1911 guy and I recently bought a Keltec Sub2000 that takes Glock mags so I am thinking about building a Glock from a Polymer 80 frame. The problem is that every Glock I've tried I haven't liked the trigger. So while I know I won't be able to get as good as a single action, what can I do to make it better?

What's your definition of a "good" trigger?

I've run a Zev Ultimate, but actually didn't like its short travel. My favorite trigger of all is on my competition Glock 17Gen4.

Ghost disconnector ($20)
6lb. trigger return spring (Zev makes one, so does Lone Wolf) ($5)
4lb. Wolff striker spring (any lighter requires soft primers) ($4)
Jager titanium light striker ($80, but optional)

And then here's the trick...shoot it! A lot! 3500 rounds in and this trigger is smoother and lighter than any commercial trigger. I guess this many rounds has made it the most expensive trigger out there. But this is the trick...just time and shooting.
