Between the cost of batteries and the extreme pressure to lighten the rest of the vehicle to offset the weight of the batteries, "zero-emission" vehicles are essentially disposable, and are scrapped for seemingly minor damage or malfunction. This makes the claim of being "climate friendly" a joke, since recycling costs and environmental factors are being ignored in calculating the true impact of making/operating/recycling the vehicles.
