I impulse bought a 14.5" barrel and I'm wondering if I should have bought a 16-18"? I heard tales of the latest bill having provisions for SBR being deregulated or something but I don't know the details. If it's not going to be problematic to build it out maybe I'd consider keeping it but otherwise I'd like to trade for a new 16-18" barrel. If someone reads this and wants to trade LMK. It's still new in the plastic bag/wrapper so I'm not going to open it up to post a picture, search the model number and you'll see pics and specs.

You can build a pistol and it will work just fine, if at some point you want to add a 'real stock' there will be options for that. I think a better question is what roll you see this one fulfilling.

Roll? I have several 15s, but haven't ever owned a 10, don't think I've ever even shot one. So it's roll would be just the having probably. Nothing in particular, target shooting or possibly hunting as a loner or something, zombie invasion...

If you don't find a trade, build a braced pistol and, if you're not paranoid, you can register as an SBR with no tax stamp in January and toss on a real stock.
