Am I wrong?

I respect that more than the people who ran their mouth and pointed fingers and are now buying suppressors cause the $200 tax is void.
The great hoax proved just how very few really do care. As for the NFA? Never have liked the idea but played with it before. Wife and I will of course have to get some now but we were not going to try to jump in now. Since we of course knew there would be a rush.

It amazes me how many people who used to be against NFA items (and criticized others for owning them) are now all for them. Simply cause it doesn't cost $200. Yet they forget the process, registration, ect has remained the same. It's no different. It's just free now. The principle remains.
I'm still against the existence of the NFA, but if the zero dollar tax makes it so I can thumb my nose at the gun grabbers in Salem and ignore their PMF ban I'll take that opportunity.

Real "rebels" never followed those laws in the first place. Lots of people are "2a absolutists" and "against government" until it's their own butts in jail and their own cash at risk for standing on the principles they "believe in"

I think people just like puffing their chests

You can be against a certain law and still be obedient/law-abiding without being a hypocrite. No need to start a "purity spiral".

Edit. Reminding y'all; lawyers in black robes have decreed that 2A is not "unlimited" and that the NFA is "constitutional"

And that won't be changing. The NFA isn't going anywhere.
