If you suspect illegal actions / activity ...then report the post / forum member.

Yes, like the poor guy Meatchicken(near me) that got "outed" at Walmart for not scanning....he was using the phone app that scans in the aisle...

Trolling the classifieds seems like a lot of work.

You underestimate bureaucrats and fedcoats. They have all the time in the world and have no problem sitting around getting paid for doing nothing by the little people.

Either the ATF is trolling classified adds and trying to bait people into selling firearms illegally or there are some really uneducated (about buying process) people here. Ive had multiple people asking to ship to states that are restricted or wanting to do shady hand- offs.
My feeling is that the ATF Portland division is on this site and trying to bait people like they did to the airport executive they shot killed. Just thought id share this experience.

Lets set them up! Flashmob the idiots when they show up. Except there may be a fedlaw prohibiting even the "offer" of a controlled weapon.

What if someone were to contact this suspected agent say "we don't know if it's illegal but you can see it at..."
THEN flashmob them?
Pics of them to be on the web ASAP...

We have a report system here at NWFA.
If you suspect illegal activity or actions regarding a classified ad...simply report it.
No need to make a thread about it.

What I find frustrating at times is when you are trying to follow the law, you find something you want and the seller is too paranoid to sell the item to you. For example I had it in my brain last summer that I wanted to buy a Glock 29 that was posted in the classifieds. The price was right and I was driving through that part of the state. The problem all revolved around background check wait times in Oregon at that time and the sellers insistence on using a particular ffl. I didn't want to risk having it hung up at the ffl and having to return a week later thus making the deal no bueno so I made an offer to the seller to just pick it up with my license. The seller got cold feet and wouldn't budge. I guess it's inconceivable to some people that an individual could have an ffl. On the positive side, I got over the idea and didn't end up with a Glock!
