That would explain why someone like Wired would say "it's already too easy, X site has the generator for online forms" because he is a dealer/SOT FFL :rolleyes: as to what's changing? I ain't sure. It's in the link I posted. It seems that they're going to make it an online process for non-FFLs to do.

The online 5320.20 service isnt affiliated with the ATF at all and its not a dealer thing. Its something the gun trust lawyer company put up years ago for general use by anyone. Just a form generator they built that emails the ATF from their server when you hit send. Youve been able to email them your filled out form 5320.20 for at least 10 years. This just speeds up the process.

Its one of those things I thought everyone knew about.

Not everyone, not even the ATF apparently knew about :s0140: what @lucusloc was referring to is apparently that previously, ATF E-forms did not have 5320.20 online form available to non-FFLs. So this public notice that the ATF published a few days ago, is indicating that they are planning to make 5320.20 form available to non-FFLs on their eForms site for everyone.
