call me a pessimist, but I refuse to get my hopes up. Nothing worse than a case of the blue balls whether physically or metaphorically. The powers that be, be, and there's more to it that a few politicians who peddle snake oil get what they want, regardless of what color their team wears. I hope that you can all call me a dumbass in a few months and make me feel stupid for running my mouth like this (wouldn't be the first time), but I just can't get excited about any prospective outcomes yet.

This is exactly why Washington is currently facing a potential 300% increase in property taxes and additional miles-driven based vehicle taxes. The corrupt politicians and bureaucrats on both sides of the aisle are watching in horror as their graft funding sources dry up and are desperate to find new sources to draw from.
