This is nuts

Convicted felon just off of parole goes to rob a convenience store...where he had just made a purchase of lighter fluid. He ties up the clerk with duct tape. Then a friend of the clerk just happens to stop by for a visit. So he ties her up too. Then he hoses the place down with the lighter fluid including the clerk and friend. He apparently couldn't get the fire going by trying to light the floor...so he lit the friend on fire. :s0001:

She's going to be relatively ok but had second degree burns. The video stops before the fire and there are lots of links in the description of the video to news articles, including the friend's testimony.

The video is a good reminder to make sure you've thought about where you would draw your lines in the sand...when do you comply vs. when do you fight?

Consider that bad things usually happen and your ability to fight and resist diminishes significantly when the following occurs:

If they try to move you
If they try to restrain you
If they try to search you
If they order you to the ground

Shouldn't the individuals who released him on parole be held accountable? This is like punishing the innocent because of some bad apples.

That video is....
