I don't know the maker as there is no forge code. Came off a colt upper I picked up but Colt uses carry handles with various forge codes. It does seem very well made I have used quality DCHs in the past from Colt, Bushmaster, Armalite and it feels the same as them. Locks up super tight its in very good condition may have a little paint residue in the crevices $30
