Having carried an M16 in Vietnam and been dangerously let down by it, I'll take an AK, anytime, anywhere. I'll take my SKS over anything built on the AR platform. Having to push out an FTE while the bad guys are joyously blasting away at you with their AK's and SKS's just leaves a bitter taste in one's mouth.
