I have sold many guns to private parties over the years but the laws have caught up with private sellers and now we are accountable to federal laws and state laws. In this case, selling a gun to someone in another state is a Federal Crime. In this state, Washington, all gun transfers must be made through a dealer. I don't like it much but I'm too old to be joining the orange jumpsuit crowd at a federal lock up facility. Sorry.
