Sometimes I just don't feel like taking multiple cans of ammo to the range. Single can of 7.62x39 feeds both.

Basic assembly of a Bear Creek upper, PSA lower, PSA Enhanced trigger, and an enhanced firing pin. Standard carbine buffer 100-150 rounds through it, so only breaking it in, but no issues so far on steel case Tula. Still, it's a paper puncher, so not really treated roughly.

I have been using Davidson defense/Omega manufacturing/ Delta team tactical enhanced 16" 7.62x39 barrels. They supposedly have an ak spec chamber that aids function. They were cheap and accurate and quite the sleeper deal back before this craziness. You will be lucky to find in stock now and price will be double if you do find one. I am not sure about the feed ramps as I never paid much attention since they just have worked as long as they were fed by cdp mags. I can look tonight and get a pic maybe. The other barrel I have had good luck with is a yhm 11" 7.62x39 barrel using the same cdp mags.
