Appleton - Hood River Outdoor Shooting Lanes?

I will be staying at a friend's cabin just outside Appleton, WA. 40MIN. from Hood River, OR.
Anybody know of any designated outdoor shooting lanes in that area?

Would that be Appleton, Wa.?

If so, Klickitat county has a range near Dallesport. Open Fri-Sun. as far as I know.

Ya, my bad. Appleton, WA. Is that a membership range? Or outdoor lanes?

Not a membership range. I have shot there and I live in OR.

Covered shooting area - Lanes are outdoor, out to 100 yds IIRC.

Been a year since I was there - they were talking of opening up a couple of longer range lanes for center fire rifle distances, but I do not know if they ever completed those.

It is only 10-15 minutes from Lyle. https://www.klickitatcounty.org/1151/Firearms-Training-Facility The longer range isn't open yet AFAIK.
There aren't any other ranges open to the public around there that I am aware of. Lots of private timberland in the Appleton area but very little public land.

Lots of public land out there and you could find some on onXmaps Hunt app, if you have it.

Actually, I grew up in Appleton and I have family that lives there still. It is mostly private timber company land. It is a popular hunting area and the lumber companies are generally fine with people hunting or shooting on their land, just not driving on it. Lots of gates and they really don't like finding vehicles on the other side. There is a decent amount of DNR land up there too.
@Cogs is spot on. Get OnX Hunt and you can see where all this land is. My brother took a 6pt bull up there last week. Just be careful to know where the houses are. The heavy timber makes it easy to shoot toward a house you just can't see. Once again, onX is what you need to prevent that.
