I usually just go to JBLM on the weekends and spend my $5.50 a day to shoot rifles and pistols. However, there are times midweek that I feel the need to put a few rounds down range. I've heard some kids (anyone under 45 is a kid) talking about a place to shoot pistols. They just didn't mention where.

If you go out through rainier turn left on johnson creek rd there used to be a place about 3 miles down the road. nice gravel-ish pit for pistols and longer section to get some decent shots for long guns.
