Any spot convenient to I-90 between Snoqualmie and Ellensburg?

I am going east to Ellensburg to pick up a new handgun this week. I thought maybe I'd stop somewhere to check out the new iron and exercise some others.

It sounds like the Exit #42 spot is kinda iffy with a car right now (record rain today), so I was wondering if there was something on the "dry" side from the pass to say, Kittitas.

There are definitely some places you can go to if you head out toward Roslyn and then go down to the lake out there. The name of it is escaping me at the moment, but it is past Roslyn.

I wouldn't mind knowing myself, I went out to 42 the other week and almost didn't make it back. hail, rain, and lightning when we got about 5 minutes from the spot. To bad too, I've only managed to make it out there once and it's a nice spot. Except all the trash that people seem to love to leave up there
