As if it would have been "different" if the damn sicko had gone with a bird or skeet shotgun and killed? Or even a .22? If that was the case would this moron say that was fine since it was a gun for hunting? These idiots will use ever damn excuse they can find to try for more laws.
I'm actually kind of surprised with the way some of these murderers idolise the previous ones there hasn't been a video gane 'one upmanship' trend with weapons selection, like "Oh you used a AR? Weak, look what I did with a shotgun"

One of the earlier reports I saw indicated the father said "only bolt action hunting guns" Not questioning that AR style rifles can be a great option for hunters, but I would like to know which quote from the father is actually accurate.
If he said "only hunting guns..." then it could just be semantics, but if he did say "only bolt action hunting guns" (or something like that that included the 'bolt action' part) then the father might have been lying to the officers for his own reasons
Most likely was lying imo but keep in mind that statement was 6-7 months before he bought his son the AR for Xmas.

That judge looks like a total hardass. Which is awesome.

Commentator claimed dad said "only hunting guns", and with his sweeping uninformed statement regarding AR's was targeting that phrase as dishonest (while in actuality HIS statement was the one that was false).

Maybe he got dad's quote (from a police report?) wrong, but I find it unusual to respond with specific action types when asked about guns in the home. Why not also mention "pump shotguns", or "single shot .22's", etc.? Could be the reporter inserted "bolt action" because he shares the same bias/ignorance as the Asst. D.A., in that semi-autos CAN'T possibly be hunting guns. (A milder form of that is the repeated inclusion of "SUV" in accident descriptions when other vehicle types are rarely so "dutifully" noted.)

Your info regarding "bolt action" was fresh to me, and I'm equally curious.

Another detail I gleaned was that the kid had repeatedly asked for mental help.

If the early reports are true, and I do not assume they are, then I'm glad they charged the dad. Horrible decision to not only give his son, in those obviously terrible conditions, a gun, but to allow his son unescorted physical access to it.

Apparently, the father gifted his son an AR15 several months after an investigation with the father and son about an Online threat of a school shooting. It's possible that the 14-year-old had access to the gun since he owned it. However, the father is now arrested and charged with numerous charges including second-degree murder.

Here's a pic of the shooter with one of his dad's hunting rifles in Jan 2023. Apparently the video is online.

Edit: the video is in this article. Antis are going to have a field day with this. bubblegum.

I have been trying to find where I might have seen the "bolt action" part, I guess it's possible that I misread it or just imagined it, but most of the things I imagine normally have much more mid 90's Drew Barrymore than this, so . . .
🤷‍♂️

Well, my information was 2nd hand from a public official making a 6-figure salary that doesn't have the faintest idea what he's talking about.

I worked in hospitals for 50 years, cleaned up a lot of blood, that doesn't look like smeared blood to me, but could be the coloring of the photo

Report are that the shooter had:

AK

AR

Shotgun

:(

I posted a picture of the gun on the floor of the school above. It's blurry cuz from a video. Multiple sources say his dad gifted him an ar15 for Christmas and that's what he used. The Georgia bureau of investigation official briefing said it's "an AR pattern rifle".

I came across this ad from Midway this morning for lauer custom coatings that caught my eye. Curios that I can't find "Colt Gray" as a option when you go to the site.

Looks more like flushed/rosy cheeks as happens a lot in cold weather with adrenaline/high body temps. Also can be seen in white people after strenous activities or in high heat/humidity environments (see gyms and sports)
