Hello all,
Ive been living in Portland now for two years and although Ive owed a few pistols and long guns over the last few decades, Ive only started collecting seriously late last year, mostly early semi-auto pistols.
My interest in pistols stems from being a history buff and my love of mechanisms and tightly toleranced machined metal. Im a mechanical designer who worked a drafting board for 20 years before transitioning to CAD, so of course Im a huge admirer of J.M. Browning and hope to acquire at least one example of all the pistols he designed.
And while it may take the rest of my lifetime, my current goal is to own an example of the service pistols of all the major combatants of both world wars.
