After a few days of showing on "backorder" they completely pulled the lowers from their website for a short time.
The lowers are now back on the website and show "in stock" (order online and have the lower ship to Cabela's near you - not in stock in stores).

I checked 15 minutes after sedan posted that and they were gone in all my local cabelas again. must be employees holding them or something. it does however say 5-8 days now for the ship to store which is way better then 2-3 weeks.

I just checked Cabelas.com and it still shows them as available. It does say "limited stock."
I don't think these have ever been in stock in any stores. I believe this is an online purchase only at this time, with ship-to-store mandatory for pickup.
