Looking for some help determining value...
First off, yes. It runs and runs well. No issues eating 230gr ball and hasnt been super picky with JHP's using Wilson combat mags.
Very good condition overall with factory box and papers. I do not have the factory grips, I recieved with a set of hogue wrap around that I replaced with magpul. (2) 7 round Colt mags and (3) 8 round wilson mags.

It's got the box and papers, it should bring at least a grand. The market for these is fairly narrow, unless you have an eager local buyer the best place to sell it is on Gunbroker.

Last year on Gunbroker, I sold an AMT Gov't for $575 and a Hardballer regular slide for $675, both without original grips, no boxes. The long slide is more valuable.

Unless its the lighting and quality of the picture, but it looks like the finish has been hit with scotchbrite (or something)? The etching is completely gone and the finish is more shinny than "original".

No original grips or magazine(s) will also hurt the collector value of it. The box and manual add very little, especially with everything else that it has going on.

You see people wanting $1800-$2200 for basket cases. If you had all the original stuff, and the etching was deep, dark and crisp, I'd say you could get $1800-$1900. That seems to be the sweet spot for these on GB (with original items).

You do have people that like the "cool factor" of the Longslide. With the way yours sets, I'd say right around $1300. You could ask $1500 and sit on it in hopes someone really wanting one jumps on it.

My $0.02.
Your mileage may vary.

Interestingly a couple for sale on the TruegunValue link I posted are similar in that the etching is gone as well.

I wonder if this was done intentionally or just the result of excessive polishing (or sanding with Wetordry sandpaper?) It would take a fair amount of work to sand off the etchings which makes me believe it might have been intentional. Kinda like that Original US Army Colt 1911 that was offered to me several years ago I previously posted about where someone had sanded it down to bare metal nearly removing all the markings.

One of the AMTs for sale.

The "etching" wasn't really etching. It can be removed when cleaning the gun with with something as simple as Hoppes #9. (Ask me how I know 🤬).

Once it was gone, I did the same thing and cleaned up the stainless, media blasted it, and polished everything.

True Gun Value is the same as the Gun Value Book. WAY low! Go onto GB and search previous sales. Look for ones with multiple bids and final prices.

👍👍👍
