Made while Al was still alive, this is a Pre-Production SERE 6, with original sheath. In Very Good Condition. It has been sharpened and stored in sheath. Had some patina on it, which I cleaned off, may still be seen in some earlier photos. Knife is excellent, sheath is good. Sharpening stone pouch on sheath needs new snap, but otherwise functions. Number 168 of 200, pre-production run. This is one of the original SERE models that Al designed.
New production of this style, now called the SERE, is $650 retail. This one is very collectible I would think, being marked pre-production, even in its current condition.
