So, has anyone in this forum got one of these? And what are your thoughts/range report? If you've also tried or owned a Saiga, how do they compare?

The 1919 lower receiver is plastic, but the upper is made of aluminum. Are you sure it was a 1919 you saw and not a bushmaster "lite" composite?Saiga will be more robust. The 1919 receiver is all plastic, and I've already seen the feed ramp start to break on one I saw.
On the thoughts of the saiga, I have never been much for stamped steel receivers unless they are the 1.5mm. But a milled receiver on one would be nice.
Why does everyone want a milled receiver AK? I've never heard about any reports of the stamped ones failing. It's not like folks say "the original milled AK is super reliable but the stamped ones are jam-o-matics!"
I like the idea of the 1919 (well I should say the Akdal MKA 1919, because I LOVE the browning 1919!). I hope it does well and is a reliable weapon because the more the merrier in this great country. For now I'll manage with my saiga 12.
