I have to order some 17-4 SS but I would like to take advantage of the choke geometry for the brake. Since I will not be able to time the brake I am most likely going to go with some generic geometry like this.

Technically, you have to replace 4 parts with US made versions before you can install that muzzle brake for it to stay within the sporting purposes definition. There is a lot of talk about this over on that Saiga forum. I have done it but I don't really want to put on a brake or a collapsible stock. I just wanted to try the ten round mags. To me its still just a range toy but it would be a formidable defense shotgun.
