A VERY expensive carry gun

I went down the 2011/double stack rabbit hole, and MAN is it an expensive rabbit hole. As you move up, it is a point of diminishing returns. Amazing gun, really towards the top of the line. Problem became for me is I would never carry such a gun, so really a range toy. And to wrap up that much money into a single gun, just wasnt worth it for me.

Jeez, I was just looking at a Wilson Conbat this morning and I thought $2500 was pricey but still within reason. You could get close to a 50 BMG for that kind of money

But can you carry a 50mg?

Yeah, I've shot/owned several and after certain price point you really dot notice that much of a difference. They are kind of hyper cars…

Too rich for my blood, and my wallet. I will never spend that much on a single gun.

I mean I might if I could, but that kind of money to me is a good used vehicle. Of course, I did spend that much on a guitar before. Different people are into different things. No way I would use that for defense.

When you have to use it, you will lose it, and you might not get it back. I am not John Wick. I prefer to have guns that I don't particularly give AF about for a carry gun. I have a couple of guns that are too costly to risk losing. Both Colts.

For carry, I will stick to my Glock, Ruger, and my lower end Beretta. That is after I lose my Sigs. They are first in line for duty as a house gun. But I also have a Kimber 1911 that I got for cheap, so next year I may be carrying that.

If you have a $6k gun you will have a good lawyer that will take that back for you in a minute. I can shoot a Glock but I can shoot this faster and better. I would carry it. My life is worth far more than $6k , I think.

I guess mine isn't ha ha. According to my 3 ex wives anyway. If they can ever prove that the Sig P320 has a mind of it's own and can indeed fire by itself, I will give one to a couple of ex wives for Christmas gifts.

Unless it comes with a spray can of group tightener, I wouldn't think so.

A heavily massaged 1911 design. Must weigh 3 lbs. Secret caliber? Oh, the mags are 9mm, so I guess...
For that price, IMO, 9X23, .45 Super or some superior caliber should be offered.

I tend to agree with that statement. To me they are everything you need and no fluff that you don't. It wasn't until Gen 4 though, that I was able to get one to fit my hand perfectly. Now I love them.
