I took advantage of the cold weather last week and removed two 5 gallon buckets full of ice from our uprite freezer.
In amoungst the meat packages I found two packages of 1/2" cubes of chicken breasts. :s0153:
Sure surprised me. Why are they there ? What do you do with cubed chicken breasts? :s0092:
How would you cook them? Would you cook them with something else.:s0092:
As a recent, "Care Giver" a lot of this kitchen stuff is still a mystery to me. :(
Would any of your wives have some ideas?

My wife pulled out some chicken breasts from our chest freezer one day and asked me how long do I think they were stored in there, since she couldn't find a date on the ziplock bag. The adhesive tag had fallen off and after searching around, it was found to be some old crab bait that was defiantly not something you would want to eat.

Yeah you got to make sure to really mark that crab bait well.

Add some white beans and green chili's to make white chili, add some teriyaki sauce and brocoli and serve over rice, add it to a bagged Ceasars salad and wrap it in a tortilla, lots of stuff, its a pretty versatile protein.

Fry them and season to taste. Serve with boiled potatoes and a vegetable side dish.

If you have a wok, buy some frozen or fresh stir fry vegetables and add them to the stir fry. There's got to be some YT videos on making stir fry.

Make chicken stew. Just google "chicken stew recipes."

Dice them and make chicken tacos.

That's all that comes to mind right at the moment.

Make Alfredo pasta, add cubed chicken, pan fry/Skillet cook it with the pasta. Add fresh or frozen cut veggies to your taste while cooking.

I like the Birdseye skillet meals, last time I made a family sized one , the garlic chicken pasta, because of my carnivorous daughter, I threw in more grilled chicken meat and then added a jar of Bertolli Alfredo sauce... It was a hit with the wife and daughter

Edit. My boy refused it lol. He's pretty much a starchy vegetarian with side of eggs and dairy..but he has tasted chicken before.

Thaw those suckers out, butterfly them and slap them as is on a roll of rice.

Nothing like juicy, raw Yardfowl Nigiri

WOW !!
Thanks. I'm goin to have to print out some of these recipes. They realy sound good. My main problem is I'm trying to cook for a diabetic woman that is off her feed and considers salt and pepper spices. :(
My Spanish side used to feel Moms cooking wasn't up to par if your nose wasn't running and your eyes wern't watering. That led to an interesting first dinner with us all together. :p

Bland? Can't go wrong with just pan fried chicken and plain rice or plain sauce for pasta

Edit, considering I have cooked for people who like bland flavors lol

Does she not like Johnny's Seasoning salt either?

When we were out on our boat I used to tease people on the dock, about the chicken we would buy on sale for crab bait. :)
I used to tell them, if the crabs didn't want the chicken it went on the barbi. Just made it a little salty.

Thanks but, even I have to watch the salt intake, it makes my legs swell.

Ever see an old fat guy trying to put support hose on? :s0001: :s0093:

Getting them off again is like skinning a snake with a 2x4.

That would be perfect (as long as its still safe to eat) in one of them neat flavored cup of noodles. I am eating a Top Ramen Chicken Coconut Curry Bowl right now with cubed up Chicken thigh and a couple diced up green onions A great 7 min Lunch. Look in the dry soup section of the grocery store.
