I have for sale a Rock island chambered in 9mm I modified to be a budget option for those wanting to test the "2011" platform. Compare it to a staccato p duo, no it's not as nice in terms of quality control from factory / weight. Shooting wise it's similar, when I compared it to a friends tri-11 and a p duo. Accurate, smooth, heavy in the right places, fast is how I'd describe it must shoot it to really get an appreciation for something so cheap to perform at its level.
Mods:
Slide milled by ZR tactical for Trijicon rmr mount $150
Trijicon rmr mount suppressor height sights w/
tritium. $250 (pretty sure these are discontinued as this was a pain to track down)
Ismi main spring and ismi guide rod spring. $25?
(3) Mbx magazines from Hayes customs. $390
Night Hawk custom drop in trigger from Sporting systems $300
Polished internals / de horned ($free.99)
Total in mods $1115
Gun cost $1000
Package has 4 mags total great gun if you would like to larp around or use in competition. Gun was not used for comp shooting and round count is hovering around 1k or so.
My asking price with everything is $1700 I can remove the Night hawk trigger and install the stock sear set which honestly isn't bad. Throw on an rmr or SRO and a light of your choice and you're good to go.
