Thanks, I just took care of it. Yes it is yellow loctite. I put the black straight bar on from the CMMG kityellow
LMTThat said, I dont know of any currently available picatinny mounted front sight thats in plane with the A1/A2 fixed carry handle?
Quality of the upper seems on par with the SARCO cardinal head forged A4 upper I have Threads good, BCG test fit from SARCO seems function fine, charging handle fits, pretty easy to put the forward assist and dust cover on... the A1 rear sight and barrel will be installed whenever they arrive; the barrel nut/delta ring set threaded on without getting caught or crossed, antiseize grease will be put on when I get the barrel onMake sure u check that upper. The ones coming from brownells are among the worst machined uppers I have ever seen. If you bought it half price.......
I first heard about it on AR15.com site, and emailed the creator of said brace, he 3d printed it and assembled it with the pin and spring and sent to me. No idea if he still is doing them currently. Can you snap some close ups of the "car style blade" brace? I've never heard of such a thing and it makes me smile that such a thing exists.
