Not a bad little Investarms .58 smoothbore Hawken style. Started as a .50 cal
that i had taken out to a .58/24ga smothbore. It is actually closer to .60. I use standard
.20 ga wads in it. Has a bit of bluing wear and is marred a little, not bad, where
an attempt was made, by me, to remove the breech plug. Nipple hole was
damaged so i took it to a machine shop and had a helicoil installed that takes a
1/4x28 TC nipple. Have both a #11 and a musket cap nipple. I did Dremel a notch
in the front of the hammer nose to clear the musket caps. I shot it some and
it works fine. Has a rubber buttpad and leather sling. Make someone a nice hunting
rifle. $250 Will include a tin of Musket caps and some .575 rd balls locally.
