I've been collecting factory SIG 1911 barrels in different calibers over the last 4 years. Some of these have taken me nearly the entire time to find.

My goal was to have 1 gun in as many calibers as possible, each working without issue, accurately.

How it started:

SIG Sauer 1911 Nightmare 5" originally purchased in 40sw, with Wilson-Nowlin ramped barrel.

Using the 40sw slide as a starting point, I starting searching for a .357sig barrel as that should have been an easy conversion.
2 years later, I found one on ebay.

I next purchased a 38super barrel from CDNN on clearance, but didn't realize it needed a 9mm slide, so it sat in the parts box for a few years.

Next I was able to find a 10mm factory barrel, also on ebay.

Just this week I scored a new 9mm slide with classic contour, and a new factory 9mm barrel.

Current lineup:

Sig square contour slide: 10mm / 40sw / 357sig

Sig classic contour slide: 9mm / 38super

Wilson combat mags in 10mm will work for 38 super.
Wilson combat mags in 40sw work for 357sig.
Wilson combat mag in 9mm.

I use a 24lb Wilson combat flat wire spring with shok buffer for 10mm/40/357sig.

I purchased a 15lb flat wire spring for 9mm.

The remaining sights/springs/parts to finish the 9mm slide will be here in the next week or so.

Photos show the groups at 20 feet.

What about .45acp, .45 Super, and .400 Corbon ???

I dropped off the parts at a local 1911 Smith to fit some wilson combat parts, install the sights and external extractor.

In a couple weeks I should be able to pick it up and go test the 9mm and 38 super barrels.

If you can find me a Wilson-Nowlin ramped 45acp barrel, I'll buy a spare 45acp slide.
Not sure about the Sig you have but most 10mm's use the same slide for 45 acp. The 357 sig/40 S&W is generally the same slide and the 38 Super and 9mm is it's own. On thinking about it a little deeper the 10mm, 40 S&W and 357 Sig would use the same bolt face so one slide would work there.

Exactly- my 40 slide works for my 10mm/357sig/40sw and my 9mm slide works for 9mm/38super.

I would probably dedicate a 45acp slide if I went down that path.

Finished the 5 caliber 1911 project today.

Didn't get a chance to test the 9mm or 38super yet, but hopefully tomorrow.

The new Wilson combat bushings, barrel links, adjustable sight, and external extractor are all installed thanks to a very talented local gunsmith near me.

I did shoot it in 10mm today to function check and was extremely happy to see the accuracy.

I like caliber convertibles!
I have a G22, with a G31 357 Sig barrel, a Lone Wolf 40/9 barrel, and a Advantage Arms 22 upper.
Also, a CZ RAMI in 40, that I fit p07 9mm barrel.
Also a CZ40B that I fit a p09 9mm barrel, and also a complete CZ75B SA 9mm slide.

200rnds through the 9mm slide and barrel today. Zero issues. Accuracy was decent but improved through my shooting session.

Orange target is a 10 shot off hand unsupported at 20 feet at the start of my session.

The white target is 20rnds supported at 20 feet at the end of my shooting session.
