I can't help it. Especially on 4th of july, Memorial Day, or Veterans Day. I love the national anthem but I absolutely love the way Ray Charles does this song:
My Grandma Jenny was very patriotic and always flew the flag in front of her home. She would sing patriotic songs sometimes while she was making me a snack in the kitchen when I was just a wee bairn.
I know we have a lot of trouble and problems especially lately. Don't forget to fly it high and proud and as @Joe Link says be excellent to each other. Take a minute or two to think about how lucky we are to be here. If you want to post a patriotic song here that means something to you please do so and tell us why.
