A friend had a crown procedure yesterday - all in one day. Mine last year, got the tooth ready, got a temporary, and week later the permanent. Sort of the opposite of 3d printing in her dentists office. Computer controlled CNC from her scan.
That's pretty cool.
But "growing" objects, especially complex objects, quickly is very cool.
