Kind of like General George sometimes carried...Some outliers don't change the metric.
Actually, the U.S. Army had a "Generals Pistol" in the '20s>'30s, IIRC it was a .380, it looked kind of like todays Mustang, carried for dress occasions.
That was odd that the sights were on the right side like that. It was almost like they were making it for a left hander.
You might like the SP101 they produce in .327 Federal Magnum:If Ruger made this in .32 H&R Mag, I'd be a buyer.

A 3" S&W J-Frame would be acceptable as well.
An SP101 or J-Frame Smith with a 3" barrel is an easy packing gun and a lot of fun to shoot. I think one in 327 would be neat. Six shots, pick your power level. You might like the SP101 they produce in .327 Federal Magnum:

It is a blued, six-shooter, with a 3" barrel and adjustable rear sights, that will happily digest .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Magnum, and .327 Federal Magnum. (I've found it will, generally, though not always, shoot .32 ACP as well. Though shooting those was mainly for the giggles.) Packs easy in a holster and I've found speedloaders that work with the Smiths (e.g., 31—1, 632 UC) and Webley Mark Ⅳ also function with the Ruger.
I like the Ruger SP101, although I don't own one at present. My first was a .32 H&R, which I liked a lot. Subsequently, I bought a .38 Special, a 9mm Luger, and a .327 Fed Mag. I liked the Fed Mag the least. The .357 would likely be an uncomfortable gun for me to shoot, in that small of a platform. I like the older, all black grips, don't care much for the later ones with the "wood" inserts.I'm thinking maybe a SP101 as I have ALWAYS considered one (passed on a 3" .357 several years ago
