I have a nice Spanish Mauser in 308 7.62x51 nato. This one shoots both it can handle 308 pressure.
It has a Spanish crest but it's covered by the scope mount rail. It has a jewel polished mag follower and side safety thumb switch.
action is smooth and trigger is very crisp and light. Overall the rifle is light weight and handy. Would be great for hunting or camp gun. Wood is also beautiful. Two sling studs
barrel I was told is military but like brand new. Fully blued and has new front and rear adjustable sights.It appears to be chrome lined when you look down the barrel it is mirror shiny like a new production barrel and crowned. I believe they built these up and scrapped the old surplus barrels. I saw them at Classic firearm web sight and one reviewer said that his came with a entirely new barrel. So I believe based on how it looks I'm the you tube video that the sporter models are new like this unlike the original military version. The barrel is marked 308W Spain.
I'm asking $400 or trade for other guns or Ammo or if anyone has a real katana sword to trade. Not a mass produced replica katana but a real one. ammo I'm interested in 10mm, 8mm non corrosive, 308 or nato, 762 54R, 556 brass cased.
