Ok so to update, i adjusted the gas block to where it locks back each time i fire with a mag in last round. But the charging handle comes back and hits me in the nose still. I mean leaves the fire arm abd travels, punches me in the nose, and heads back. Chatgot said a new spring and buffer weight would do it so imma start there. I was being dumb as well trying to have it lock back with no magazine in it... like an ape.Hello all,
I have a 9 inch barreled 300 blk out and am running into issues. Its always had a bit of a gas issue but now with an adjustable gas block on it locks back on last round everytime. Issue is the charging handle moves backwards each time i fire... what gives?
Thanks you guys. Will look at this and update when fix is implemented. That makes sense theory of operation wise. Just needs some grip trainingBefore you change anything do as @msgriff recommended. Check the latch recess on the upper receiver for wear or damage. If that is not damaged a new latch spring is far cheaper than messing with the buffer, which I doubt is the problem in the first place a d in the second place may mess with the functioning of the rifle.
Chat GPT doesn't know anything about guns. The buffer system isn't the problem. You need to check the charging handle latch and latch recess.Ok so to update, i adjusted the gas block to where it locks back each time i fire with a mag in last round. I assume you meant Chatgpt...Chatgot said a new spring and buffer weight would do it so imma start there.
Going to try the charging handle spring and inspect the trackI assume you meant Chatgpt...
If you're going to listen to what an AI says over what real life humans with actual experience say then I'd wager that's part of your problem. AI's are notoriously dumb.
