Sadly I need to liquidate a portion of my collection, so my excellent R/C 1938 K98k Mauser is for sale. Uncommon S/243 code (Mauser Borsigwalde).
Russian capture, still wears the correct early war stock that the Russians paired with the rifle – see matching serial number on buttstock inscribed when reassembled. Numerous waffenamts are present and well defined. Bolt is not matching but smooth with a defined, firm safety with positive clicks. Laminate stock is free from cracks or major dents. Receiver firmly seats. Bore is frosted with light pitting but will likely shine up when fired. Metal finish is very good to fair with original bluing and Russian paint present. Some areas of old pitting and typical rub marks and dings, dents, scratches.
Front retaining screw will be included with sale.
